Cowell reported bending the knee before their son, Eric, 7. According to an insider, the engagement happened on New Year’s Eve during the couple’s romantic getaway to Barbados, and “it was super sweet” because “they’re good together.”
Lauren Silverman was married to Simon’s friend Andrew Silverman for ten years until their divorce in 2013. Coincidentally, she went public with her relationship with Cowell in the same year. They admitted their affair when news of Lauren’s pregnancy (of her now 7-year-old child, Eric) broke.
