It is no secret that President Joe Biden is deeply unpopular, just like the vast majority of polls show his vice president, Kamala Harris, is widely disliked by the electorate.
Former President Donald Trump, though unpopular compared to his predecessors, would easily beat both Biden and Harris in 2024, according to a new poll.

In the latest Harvard CAPS-Harris poll released by The Hill, 45 percent of respondents said they would vote for Trump if the 2024 presidential election was held today.
Forty-one percent said they would vote for Biden, while 14 percent were unsure or didn't know who they would vote for.
This is not exactly surprising, given Biden's approval rating, which is even lower than Trump's was at this point of his presidency.
In this poll, just 38 percent of respondents said they approve of Biden's performance in the White House.
The Harvard CAPS-Harris found that Trump is far more popular than Biden.
Thirty-seven percent of respondents in the poll said they had a favorable view of Biden, while 44 percent said they had a favorable view of Trump.
Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS-Harris survey, described Biden as a "very weak" candidate.
"Biden is a very weak Democratic nominee and would lose even the popular vote in a rematch today. Trump is far from 50 percent support, and there is a high undecided vote despite everyone knowing the candidates, because the public wants new over more of the same."
Some expect Biden, who is 79 years old, to step down before the 2024 election.
If Biden was to do that, Harris would be widely seen as his heir -- and she is even less popular than the president.
If the 2024 election were held today, 47 percent of Americans would vote for Trump, while 40 percent would support Harris, the Harvard CAPS-Harris survey found. Thirteen percent said they were not sure or didn't know who they would vote for.
At the same time, just 36 percent of respondents said they had a favorable view of Harris.
Trump has repeatedly gestured at a potential 2024 White House run but has yet to officially launch his presidential campaign.
According to a recent report from The Washington Post, the former president will most likely launch his campaign before the 2022 midterm elections.
Republicans are favored to win both the House of Representatives and the Senate in the upcoming elections.
