Michael Phelps’ New Girlfriend, Model Sarah Herndon, Shows Off In Bikini Photo Shoot

Michael Phelps has bounced back from his breakup with a model, and the Olympic swimmer has a new girlfriend who just happens to be a model herself.

Phelps is dating model Sarah Herndon, who is hitting the internet with a photo shoot from her tropical vacation with the famous Olympian.

Since announcing his retirement from swimming, Phelps has been hitting the dating circuit pretty hard. In January he broke up with his waitress/model girlfriend Megan Rossee, with TMZ reporting that Phelps felt the relationship “was not going anywhere.”

Phelps and Rossee had started dating during his record-breaking performance at the 2012 London Olympics. After news of the breakup, Rossee took to Twitter to air some of the relationship dirty laundry, copying a Sex and the City quote:

“Some people are settling down…some are settling…and some people refuse to settle for anything less than butterflies.” #satc

Michael Phelps seems to have moved on nicely from the drama that surrounded the breakup and started a relationship with Herndon, a 22-year-old Southern California native.

The Daily Mail reported that Michael Phelps and his new girlfriend met just before Christmas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. They started dating shortly afterward, and recently took a trip together to the Bahamas.

Sarah Herndon has spoken highly of her relationship with Michael Phelps.

“Michael’s a good kisser,” she said. “He’s very cuddly and kissy, which is cute. He’s charming and a gentleman. He’s got like a confident side to him to that makes you want more. But he’s very sweet at the same time.”

She added: “Michael’s body is obviously great, I mean he’s an athlete. He’s got a great sculpted body. He’s obviously been a swimmer like forever.

“There’s not really much bad you can say about it.”
