Chick Bank Robber Hannah Sabata Arrested After YouTube Boasting
“Chick Bank Robber” Hannah Sabata made the silly mistake of boasting about her bank robbery exploits on YouTube. In the video clip that is sure to go viral, the Chick Bank Robber boasted that “it was the best day of my life” and is seen fanning herself with a wad of cash that she said was stolen using a “gun, a pillow case and a note.” York County police arrested the teenager shortly later.
According to the Daily Mail, the Chick Bank Robber started her crime spree by lifting a Pontiac Grand Am in York. Traveling to Waco on November 29, authorities say that Hannah Sabata entered the Cornerstone Bank and handed tellers a slip of paper that read, “You are being robbed! NO ALARMS OR LOCKS OR PHONES or INK BAGS! I have a loaded gun. You have 2 minutes.”
The Chick Bank Robber absconded with $6,256, which is not that much, but it certainly made her happy.
“I just stole a car and robbed a bank,” wrote Hannah Sabata in the YouTube video description. “Now I’m rich, I can pay off my college financial aid and tomorrow i’m going for a shopping spree. Bite me. I love GREENDAY!”
The Chick Bank Robber appears to be wearing the same clothing she wore during the bank robberies based upon video surveillance.
“I told my mom today was the best day of my life,” Hannah Sabata writes in the video. “She just thinks I met a new boy.”
The video also claims that “the shiny new car is a Pontiac Grand Am. Of course, I already took the license plates off and threw them out.”
Sounds like the Chick Bank Robber went through a lot of trouble to hide her tracks just to advertise herself all over the internet. See the video for yourself:
Police have recovered the Pontiac Grand Am and all the stolen money except for $30. As for why she became the Chick Bank Robber, Hannah Sabata blames the government:
“The whole system is just a game. The government stole my baby … and they took him away before I could even take him home … and they charged me with child neglect … I may not be a mother anymore but I can still find purpose.”
Here is hoping that the Chick Bank Robber finds a better purpose while behind bars.
