How Jennifer Lawrence can consider herself obese is beyond us. The Hunger Games actress showed off her sexy figure in a bikini while on vacation in Hawaii, and we think she looks fantastic.
The 22-year-old showed off her toned and tanned body while on vacation with family in Maui, Hawaii, on November 21. The actress is in town shooting additional scenes for Catching Fire, the second installment in the immensely popular Hunger Games series, and took some time off to catch some sun.
The Academy Award-nominee said that she also planned to spend Thanksgiving with family before shooting resumes. “My dad won’t have a deep fryer, so I don’t know what he’s going to do,” she told E! News.
In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Lawrence said “In Hollywood, I’m obese. I’m considered a fat actress,” joking “I’m Val Kilmer in that one picture on the beach.”
Despite this self-perception, Lawrence said that she has no intention of starving herself to fit the Hollywood image.
“I eat like a caveman,” she said. “I’ll be the only actress who doesn’t have anorexia rumors. I’m never going to starve myself for a part. I keep waiting for that one role to come along that scares me enough into dieting, and it just can’t happen. I’m invincible.”
She also told Glamour earlier this year:
“I hate saying, ‘I like exercising.’ I want to punch people who say that in the face,” Lawrence said. “But it’s nice being in shape for a movie, because they basically do it all for you. It’s like, ‘Here’s your trainer. This is what you can eat.’”
“I don’t diet,” she clarified. “I do exercise! But I don’t diet. You can’t work when you’re hungry, you know?”

Seriously, these articles are like a bad game of "Telephone." Learn to recognize sarcasm. She doesn't have the "self-perception" that she's actually obese. She said that, by Hollywood's standards, she'd be considered obese – meaning, Hollywood's standards/expectations are ridiculous because she KNOWS she's not and she'll never give into that mentality.

first of she's not even considered to be obese by anyone's standard, tons of hollywood actresses look just like that, there is no hollywood standard of being obese when you're skinny and most actresses are skinny, that's a stupid comment, stupid people shouldn't be famous.
