Adele Becomes Mrs. Doubtfire On Tumblr

Robin Williams was able to convince Sally Field and his movie kids that he was a 70-year-old woman in the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. Well, it looks like Adele can pull off the same look.

A new Tumblr page seeks to answer one of the internet’s most troubling questions: What if Adele was Mrs. Doubtfire?

The page re-works Adele’s face into several of the movie’s famous scenes. What would Adele’s face look like if it was run over by a truck? What would Adele look like if she stuffed her face into a cream pie? What would Mrs. Doubtfire look like if she won a Grammy?

This isn’t the first time that Mrs. Doubtfire has been subject to an internet parody. Earlier this year, the classic movie was re-cut as a horror film.

Robin Williams has done some scary movies in the past but his scariest role by far came in Mrs Doubtfire when he played a deranged husband who dressed up as an old lady in order to gain the trust of his family members. Seriously, with the right music playing Mrs. Doubtfire can be terrifying.

    This is kooky – I loved Robin Williams in the Mrs. Doubtfire Movie – it was so funny and heart wrenching. It was a great father story & an awesome experience for the actor. The best ones have always challenged themselves to swap into an opposite gender role. Julie Andrews, Patrick Swayze, Tyler Perry, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Wesley Snipes, John Leguizamo, and lots of others. It is the fact they are secure in who they are that makes doing this feel like a challenge to them. I just think that having a woman as a woman – it's odd for this movie. Plus I don't think that Adele makes a very good Mrs. Doubtfire. It's more than looks too, it's the person inside. Robin gave Mrs. Doubtfire a real heart & presence no one else could. He made her "real" in a whole lot of ways.

    She actually looks like a typical British nanny in that ensemble…She Rocks no matter what she's doing..Go Nanny McPhee, lol.

    Why do people have to cut people to the core? Yes I liked the movie Robin Williams and I don't she comes close to Mrs.Doubtfire She is to pretty and her voice is just beautiful Let's just keepRobin on as Mrs.Doubtfire.
